Governance
The directors of the Company consider good corporate governance to be central to the effective and efficient operation of the Company and its affiliates, and are directly responsible for the stewardship of the Company and developing the Company's approach to governance issues. The board of directors adopted corporate governance and disclosure practices of the Company and its affiliates, incorporating current and proposed guidelines and rules promulgated by the Toronto Stock Exchange and Canadian securities regulatory authorities, in an effort to implement the best practices for the Company.
